A huge fan favourite, “Tricky” Dick Thornton was a dynamic and charismatic two-way player, playing defensive back and wide receiver. A two-time Grey Cup Champion and three-time CFL All-Star, Thornton won both his Grey Cups with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, playing in the infamous “Fog Bowl”. He passed in 2014 while living in the Philippines.
