This 180-pound Kitchener, ON native was one of the best Canadians to ever play the game. Despite his size, he played linebacker and running back with such intensity that a rival coach once said “if he had Cookie Gilchrist’s size, they’d have to outlaw him from the game”. Passed away in 2011.
