“The King” combined with Royal Copeland to form the famed “Gold Dust Twins” after WWII. He won five Grey Cups and was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1963. His #55 is one of the Argos’ four retired jerseys and he was honoured in 1996 as one of the inaugural ‘All-Time Argos’ by the club. He was named to the All-Time Argos depth chart at RB in 2007.
