A former CFL Rookie of the Year, Fenerty held the Argo single season rushing record for more than a decade. He led the club in rushing each year he was in Toronto was named a CFL All-Star twice and an East Division All-Star three times. Recruited out the Italian league Bolzano Jets by then-GM Leo Cahill.
